Top 3 Favorite Small Town Coffee Shops in NE Georgia

Instant coffeeIn small towns, come small family owned Coffee Shops. I love the feel of small, hole in the wall type coffee houses. The vibe and atmosphere are hard to compete with when it comes to big chain coffee shops that you can find on every corner. I love to stop by to listen to music, sip on a cappuccino and check in with clients while visiting one of these shops.

Here is a list of my personal favorites:

Mocha Moes Coffee House– Flowery Branch: Located off Spout Springs and Friendship Road in the Hoschton/Flowery Branch area you can find a unique coffee shop offering more than just coffee. They offer live music, trivia night and beer. I love how spacious and inviting the inside is.You can sit at a normal table, comfy chairs, sofas or belly up to the bar. They are open Mon-Fri till 9:30pm and Fri/Sat until 12:00am. Check out there facebook page for fun events and activities coming up.

Cream & Suga– Jefferson: Located in Downtown Jefferson in the old Jail, you can find this unique coffee shop. All of the jail cells have been converted to fun, comfy sitting rooms. They offer coffee, tea, smoothies, breakfast,  lunch and of course sweet treats. They take pride in preserving the old jail while creating a relaxing atmosphere. Their hours are Mon-Fri till 4:30, Sat until 12:00pm and closed on Sundays.

Common Grounds– Flowery Branch- I love stopping by in the morning to grab a homemade biscuit and coffee. Common Grounds is located in downtown Flowery Branch near Lake Lanier. You can’t beat the charming decor and the sound of trains passing by. They claim to have the best reuben in Hall County. They are open every day, except Sundays, until 2:00pm

Please help support these local shops and stop by and try something new. If you are ever looking for someone to grab coffee with, please keep me in mind! And if you or someone you know is looking to buy or sell a home in NE Georgia, we would be delighted to help!
