There are thousands of restaurants in Atlanta, Georgia, so finding that perfect go-to restaurant can be a daunting task. But, have no fear— Chef Ford Fry has made this almost impossible task, possible. In 2007, Ford put roots down in Atlanta by opening up his first restaurant, JCT Kitchen + Bar. Since then he has opened up multiple other restaurants where one is sure to conquer your cravings. Below are a few of the best:
The OG — JCT Kitchen + Bar
Located in the Westside Market, JCT is a great place to meet up with friends to share small plates, or have a plate of your own southern fried chicken. It’s comfort food meets upscale vibes. Relax outside on the patio and listen to live music or dine at the upstairs bar.
The Newest Addition — Little Rey
Little Rey is a super casual, tex-mex style restaurant. Go up to the counter to order your tacos and margarita then find your seat. Choose a cool spot inside or grab some fresh air on the over-sized patio. Wanting a great, quick breakfast? Little Rey fits the bill too. Breakfast hours go from 8am – 11am on weekdays and until 3pm on weekends. Make sure you get your tacos “Rico Style” if you are looking for a spicy kick. You won’t regret stopping by this place located in Piedmont Heights.
The World’s Best Lobster Roll — Beetlecat
Yep, that’s right. Atlanta is home to the world’s BEST lobster roll and Ford Fry is the chef who made it happen. The Beetlecat menu is seafood inspired with a twist. With cool vibes, great drinks and the world’s best lobster roll—you can’t go wrong. Oh yeah, don’t forget about the donut brunch every weekend 11am-2:30pm. After brunch, walk off your donut on the beltline, which is just a few blocks away. If brunch isn’t your thing, meet up with your friends for a late dinner. The downstairs bar is open until midnight.
“Fresh from the sea. Fresh from the farms. Share a plate or three. Have a drink or three. There is no beginning and end. No rules, except to eat what you want, and turn over your oyster shells when you’re done.”
There is no better conversation than a conversation held at the dinner table. Let The Peters Company know which Ford Fry restaurant is your favorite. We’d love to celebrate your home purchase or sale over a fantastic meal!
