The 5 Most Expensive Homes Sold in the First Quarter of 2019

We all do it… so, we’ve done it for you!  I’ve scoured high and low on the MLS to find the most expensive (and dreamy) sales in Atlanta for early 2019!  Enjoy!

#5. 515 W Paces Ferry Road NW – One of Atlanta’s most prominent streets. The traditional, all-brick home has 7 bedrooms, 8 full bathrooms and 4 half bathrooms. 15,344 square feet that includes a salon, library, theater room, home gym, gourmet kitchen AND catering kitchen (among other lovely things). Complete with a gorgeous pool overlooking the perfectly manicured back yard. Originally listed for $4,000,000.00, this beauty closed for $3,700,000.00. (Days on market – 180)

#4. 5229 Riverview Road – Heading slightly north from W Paces Ferry Road, you will be taken to #4 on the list. This stunning (seriously, it looks amazing in the pictures) European-style home has 7 bedrooms, 7 full bathrooms and 1 half bathroom. The home spans 6,883 square feet and was designed by Keith Summerour. There is also a private guest apartment AND a wine room (sign me up). Originally listed for $3,995,000.00, the transaction closed for $3,850,000.00. (Days on market – 182)

#3. 13620 Hopewell Road – Continuing (way) north to gorgeous Milton, you will hit this fabulous equestrian estate on 22 acres. With 6 bedrooms, 7 full bathrooms, 3 half bathrooms and 11,450 square feet, this home has everything you could ever need. Breathtaking views of the land it sits on and its two private ponds. Originally listed for $4,500,000.00 and closed for $4,125,000.00…CASH. (Days on market – 64)

#2. 4540 Jett Road – Bringing it back into town and in the lovely Chastain Park, we have a sprawling traditional home with 5 bedrooms, 7 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms. There are two master suites in this fabulous structure. It really looks like it is straight out of a Southern Living magazine. Not to mention, 1.5+ acres. Originally listed for $4,975,000.00 and settling at $4,575,000.00 (Days on market – 63)

#1. 1325 Monte Carlo Drive NW – No surprise here, we are keeping it things in Buckhead. Described as European, Mediterranean and traditional, this estate was designed by architect William Baker and sits on 3 acres with a lake view. At 12,500 square feet there are 6 bedrooms, 8 full bathrooms and 1 half bathroom. An infinity pool looks over the perfectly green grass and isn’t a far walk from the wine cellar that is in the basement. A true gem nestled in our great city. Originally listed for $5,400,000.00 and sold for $5,300,000.00…also CASH. What a steal! (Days on market – 15)
