I might be one of the only people in the United States that feels this way, but Thanksgiving Dinner is not one of my favorite things. Gasp. I know, I know, I get the “But Katelyn, what about all of the yummy food!?!” I do like to cook, I do actually really like the food and I love to eat (ask my co-workers, I’m always munching!), but there is just something about it that I don’t enjoy. I’m sorry.
So for those of us who don’t want to hassle with Thanksgiving dinner (for our own various reasons!) here is a list of restaurants around Atlanta that will happily take care of it for you! Just reserve, show up, and enjoy your food of choice.
Ray’s On The River / Ray’s At Killer Creek / Ray’s In The City
Ray’s resturaunts will be serving a buffet menu that will include both traditional Thanksgiving Day fare and Ray’s resturaunts favorites. This is sure to be delicious as Ray’s has been a staple resturaunt in Atlanta since 1984. They will be open from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm on Thanksgiving day. $37.95 per person or $18.95 for children 5-10 years old.
I know this is a chain restaurant, but I love it for many reasons. With 3 locations, it’s super convenient. While there is a set menu, there are several choices in each, something is surely catch your eye (they even have non-turkey items for those of us who don’t like traditional Thanksgiving Day food!). You get so much food. Seriously. Enough for the day after. Need I say more? Maggiano’s will be open from 11:00 am – 9:00 pm. $39.95 for adults and $17.95 for children 5-12 years old.
I’ve never had anything I didn’t like at Seasons 52. They will be putting their “farm to table” spin on Thanksgiving day dinner with all of the trimmings and I’m certain it will be nothing short of the best. Both locations at Perimiter and Buckhead will be open from 11:30-8:00. The set menu is $26.90 for adults or $12.90 for children 13 years old and younger. (Full menu will also be available at menu prices)
If you are like me and looking for something other than traditional Thanksgiving day dinner, look no further than Ruth’s Chris! The filet is always amazing and the sides are equally delicious. They will also be serving traditional Thanksgiving dinner for $39.95 for adults and $12.95 for children 12 and under. With 4 locations (including Kennesaw and Alpharetta for our OTP friends we love so much) there will definitely be one close to you. Ruth’s Chris will be open from 11:00 am – 10:00 pm on Thanksgiving.
South City Kitchen
Both locations in Midtown and Vinings will be serving up a southern style Thanksgiving day menu with a sophisticated spin. There will be a pre-set 3 course menu, with plenty of options in each course. Open from 11:30 am – 8:30 pm. $45.00 for adults and $22.50 for children 12 and under.
