Spotlight on Smyrna, The Jonquil City

Did you know that Smyrna, Georgia, is one of the fastest growing cities in the state of Georgia? It’s a great place to live for many reasons!

  1. It’s easy access to 75 and 285, which makes it ideal for those that have to commute into the city for work! While Smyrna is in close proximity to Atlanta, it is in Cobb county, which means taxes are lower than its Fulton county neighbor.

  1. It’s in the backyard of SunTrust Park, the home of the Atlanta Braves. Hop on over to The Battery to enjoy all of the shops and restaurants it has to offer, or head over to see the NL-East Champs play some ball (I advise against daytime games during the summer, because…Georgia heat, ya know?).

  1. Smyrna Market Village, West Village, The Shops at Belmont. Just a few of Smyrna’s wonderful live-work-play areas. A few restaurants to note are Porch Light, Zama Mexican (a personal favorite), Atkins Park, Crestwood Tavern.

  1. The Silver Comet Trail is a 61.5-mile paved trail starting in Smyrna and traveling to the Georgia/Alabama border. Popular among bikers, walkers, hikers and even horses!
