Construction has begun on Braselton’s newest restaurant and brewing Company, Braselton Brewing Co. The historic Cotton Gin in downtown Braselton is undergoing construction now. The project is taking a bit longer then planned due to the building located within an area of the National Historic Register. The state and federal officials have to approve the plans.
According to the Brewery website they plan to have 8-12 of their own brews on tap at any point in time, with 4-6 mainstays that will always be available. The remaining choices will be special or seasonal brews. The pub will feature plenty of indoor and pet friendly patio seating and a full menu. They hope to have the grand opening the end of July.
The little town of Braselton is located off hwy 85 and is around 45 minutes North of Atlanta. It is known for antique stores, festivals, wonderful new restaurants and a soon to be brewery. If you are looking to explore a small town near Atlanta or looking to move this way, I would love to show you around this growing area.
