For those of us with young children, it is easy for cabin fever to set in and screen time to go up due to the cold weather. But have no fear, here are three of our favorite indoor play spaces to take your kids to get their brains going and bodies moving.
- The Children’s Museum: Located in Downtown, it is geared towards children nine and under. Their hands on exhibits are designed to promote problem solving, creative thinking and artistic expression through play, imagination and discovery.
- Kefi: Located in Buckhead, not only has five different play areas, there is also a coffee shop and a space for parents to work. This includes private booths or a large table for collaborative work. With learning based play, Kefi’s goal is to foster a child’s imagination, confidence, independence and creativity.
- Rockin’ Jump: Located in Smyrna and Buford, this is the go to place if you really need your kids to burn some energy. This is not your typical trampoline park. It also includes X-Beam, Aerial Silks, rock climbing wall, and Ninja Course. Everything is in a centralized location with walking paths between exhibits for parents to keep a careful eye on their little ones.
